Attached is a copy of a Media Statement issued today by the Alliance of Defence Service Organisations (ADSO) who are beginning to wonder whether, three weeks out from the upcoming Federal election, Australia's serving and ex serving communities will see the light of day of any substantive policies from those political parties, and even the Independents, seeking election to Federal Parliament.

That is notwithstanding a series of fine words from both the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader during recent speeches they gave where each in their own way unequivocally acknowledged that the nation as a whole must do better than in the past to support and care for the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who had been prepared to pay the ultimate price in service to their country.

ADSO makes a plea to the Government, to the Opposition and the other parties, including the Independents: Bring out your policies so we can all see how you intend (or not) to support and care for those you so readily send to war.
