The Social Services and Other Legislation Amendment (Military Invalidity Payments Means Testing) Bill 2024 provides some clarity in the way in which DFRDB and MSBS Invalidity Benefits affected by the Douglas case are assessed by Centrelink and DVA for income support purposes.
DFWA made a submission to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee regarding the proposed amendments.
